Do you meditate?

What I love most about travelling through Asia, is to be closer to cultures that support mindful living and age-old traditions and religions that teach us that the only thing that matters is to live in the here and now. To be grateful, to help others, to give, to be humble and that we don't need material things to be happy while they put a lot of weight on our shoulders.

Live in the here and now

And after a year of hard work, in the fast and consuming world we live in, I look back and notice that I did forget sometimes to meditate, to live in the here and now, to be humble, to stand still and look up to see the beautiful skies... And I'm not always a saint when it comes to clean eating and definitely my 30 pairs of leggings are a little too much, even for a legging addict ;)

So I always enjoy my time in Asia. Time to reflect, time to look back, to set some goals for the time ahead and... to meditate more.

In The East, meditation is like sports.

In The East, meditation is like sports. helps to focus and understand the mind—eventually reaching a higher level of awareness and inner calm. Neurologists have found that regular meditation actually changes your brain in ways that can help you to control emotions, enhance concentration, decrease stress, and even become more connected to those around you. With practice, you’ll be able to achieve a sense of tranquillity and peace no matter what's going on around you.

I love to share with you a movie on Youtube which is called One-Moment Meditation. I use this to meditate sometimes and it works and is funny at the same time!

I can't wait to hear if it works for you too so please don't hesitate to comment on this post. Sharing is Caring.
